No, we don't pluck parrots for the beautiful feathers featured in our jewelry. In fact, they are a naturally-molted product of my very own parrot kids; Maggie, 16 yr old Severe Macaw, Gabby, 17 yr old Blue and Gold Macaw and Emma, age unknown, a Blue Crowned Conure. The feathers are cleaned and sanitized prior to use.

Other components used include high-quality surgical steel or sterling silver ear-wires, beading and jewelry findings.
